Inventory Management

Furthermore, we take the headache out of buying and selling products in different currencies and with different tax types with our Multi Currency and Tax Types functions. We give you all the order management tools you need to undergo a hassle-free experience through each stage of the fulfillment process.

Stock Control

We give you the right tools to move, edit, and control your stock levels via Stock Adjustments, Stock Transfers, and you can set up as many stock locations as you need. How Does the TradeGecko and Xero Integration Work?

TradeGecko acts as the control dashboard – your business activity on TradeGecko gets pushed to Xero as accounting data. As you create and manage orders, invoices, shipments, purchase orders, and stock adjustments, your respective accounts on Xero will automatically be updated with the right amounts.

Creating Sales Order Invoice

When you create an Invoice on your TradeGecko Sales Orders, the invoice total is immediately pushed to Xero as a Sales Invoice in the Sales account (typically Accounts Receivable). You can then approve the invoice and make payment on Xero afterwards. Example: Create Invoice of $200 total in TradeGecko → Increase in Sales Account by $200 in Xero

Creating Purchase Order

When you create a Purchase Order in TradeGecko, the order total is immediately pushed to Xero as a Purchases Bill in the Purchases account (typically Accounts Payable). You can then approve the bill and make payment on Xero afterwards. Example: Create Purchase Order of $200 total in TradeGecko → Increase in Purchases Account by $200 in Xero

Stock Movements Reporting (Shipments, Stock Adjustments, Purchase Orders)

At the end of every day, we collate all changes in your stock levels in TradeGecko into a single Purchases Bill on Xero. This includes: Fulfilling shipments on Sales Orders (marking as ‘Shipped’), receiving Purchase Orders (creating Procurements), and creating Stock Adjustments. Fulfil Shipment of $200 total in TradeGecko → Reduce Stock On Hand account by $200 in Xero, Increase Cost of Goods Sold account by $200 in Xero Receive Purchase Order of $200 total in TradeGecko → Increase Stock On Hand account by $200 in Xero, Reduce Stock Purchases account by $200 in Xero Create Stock Adjustment increasing (decreasing) stock by $200 total in TradeGecko → Increase (decrease) Stock On Hand account by $200 in Xero, Decrease (increase) Cost of Goods Sold account by $200 in Xero

Removing Orders

Deleting or voiding a Sales or Purchase Order on TradeGecko will also delete or void the appropriate invoices (both AP/AR and Assets accounts) on Xero.

Payments on Sales Orders

Payment support in TradeGecko is limited at the moment, so we do not push payment statuses to Xero. Payment management is in the pipeline but in the meantime, you are advised to make payment changes in Xero.
